June 4th. Global Day of Prayer

Hey guys.
So tomorrow is the Global Day of Prayer. Now honestly I forgot about that until this morning. Now in all truth I've never really thought about this day before. I mean whatever. People pray all the time. But think about it. Christians all over the world will be praying specifically on this day. I mean... how cool is that? What wonders will occur. Talking to a friend a mine, she thinks something "good" will happen tomorrow. Not normal good guys. Like, and God saw that it was good good. I firmly believe that God's ready to outpour in this world. And my spirit is specifically excited for Edmonton. Things happen when the people of God get off there butts and unite together. There is so much power in prayer and there's even more power in praying with other believers. Ahhh. I am so excited. I'm excited for what God's doing amidst us. I'm ready for sweet awesome glory of God. Not just the presence but the glory. Crazy revelations and miraculous wonders. People! I'm tired of just talking about it. I'm ready to see it, feel it, live it. Guys, time is of the essence. Jesus could be coming back any day at any hour. I want to be ready. I want Him to tell me well done. Pray. Pray guys. We want the glory to come. We want to see God move and change lives. We need to do our part. I mean how bad do we really want this? It may require some work but I know it's coming. I know it will come. I'm believing. So tomorrow. No matter where you are. Pray. Ask Holy Spirit to guide you and lead you in what to pray. Expect great things. But pray earnestly. Know Him. Not just about Him. Be with Him. Not just doing thing for him. Love, and pray.

Good Morning!

Hey Everybody. So it's a beautiful friday morning. Ahh I do love to watch the sun come up. Heh. Those of you that know me may be wondering? What? Jocelyn up at 5am?? Well I've not yet gone to bed. I pulled a 13 hour last night. So I'm pretty buzzed. It's the quiet hours of the day. What a perfect time to get some bible reading in. I always read before I go to sleep. But it's daytime so it's awesome. Heh. Anyways. The sunrise was so beautiful. So was the sunset.

Don't let the things of life stop you from soaking up the simple beauty of a sunrise or a sunset. It's worth missing a few hours of sleep every once in awhile. :).

Haha. Ok so this post is for Dawn's benefit. Teehee.
Surprisingly today is a very important day in my life.
It marks the 16th year of knowing Jesus personally as my Lord and Savior.
It's awesome and crazy to think back on the awesome things He's done for me.
Hmm. May 31st is one of my favorite days of the year. Besides it marking the day of which I met Jesus for the first time, my spiritual birthday. It's like the last day of the Spring months. June is a summer month. May is a spring month. The weather is simply beautiful today. From what I remember May 31st 1990 was a beautiful day too. I do remember it well. Heh. It's also my friend Lisa's birthday today. Today was my last day of physio, and the last day of work for my dear friend Ann. In a few hours I'm going to go back into work so that I can be a part of the shrink-wrapping of her van and herself. Hahah. Only the best. Anyways. I realize it's been awhile since I've updated. Hah. I'm funny like that. I go in stages where I post every day for 3 weeks and then not for another three. It's my short attention span. Heh. Anyways.
